Daniel Hakimi, DO, FACOG
Dr. Hakimi is our leading physician and medical director of Ob-Gyn Infertility Services of Northern New Jersey. He completed his medical training at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998, and in 2002, he completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Yale New Haven and Bridgeport Hospitals. In 2004, Dr. Hakimi received his board certification in obstetrics and gynecology.

Dr. Hakimi is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Hakimi discovered his interest in performing surgeries during his ob-gyn residency years, seeking out and completing additional surgical training, and making him particularly skilled in gynecologic surgery. Since 2013, Dr. Hakimi has been a Da Vinci-trained and certified robotic surgeon. He does early-stage gynecological cancer surgeries.
Dr. Hakimi’s superior clinical and surgical skills have helped him manage hundreds and hundreds of both low- and high-risk pregnancies. He is proud of his exceptionally low cesarean-section rate. His patients who have had a previous cesarean delivery regularly deliver vaginally in subsequent pregnancies (VBAC). Women from New York City, upstate New York, Brooklyn, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and the entire state of New Jersey seek his skills, expertise, consultation, and services.

In his spare time, Dr. Hakimi enjoys spending time with his wife and children and reading the latest medical literature in the fields of OB/GYN and surgery.

Michael Abrahams, MD, FACOG
We are extremely excited to welcome Dr Michael Abrahams as the newest member of our practice team.
Dr Abrahams has been providing care in Obstetrics and Gynecology to patients in the New York and New Jersey community for the last 30 years, both in private practice and as hospital faculty. He is a graduate of Boston University School of Medicine and has trained and worked at Harvard University Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital,
Maimonides Medical Center, New York University , Lenox Hill Hospital, and Hackensack University Medical Center.
He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and also maintains expertise in Menopause Medicine.

Sina Haeri, MD, FACOG
Dr. Haeri is double board certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics & Gynecology. He earned his BA from UCLA and his masters degree in Health Service Administration from St. Joseph's College. He then completed Medical School at St. Matthew's University. His passion in the field of women's healthcare led him to pursue his Residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Georgetown University & Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. He completed his fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also maintains a fellowship in Anatomic Pathology & Laboratory Medicine from UCLA.
As a combat veteran with 12 years in the US Army, he has served on the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine’s Health Policy and Advocacy and Communication committees. He has a special interest in teleMFM, overseeing national research projects on teleMFM’s impact on perinatal outcomes. TeleMFM allows increased access and convenience in the care of pregnant women who are in need of guidance to achieve the best pregnancy outcome.

Shira Wein, PA-C
Shira Wein, PA-C is a Physician Assistant who has been part of our team since 2021 . She completed her undergraduate studies at Stern College for Women earning a BA in Biology. She then completed her Masters degree at CUNY York College Physician Assistant program. Shira always has always possessed a special passion for Women’s Health and helping women of all ages through their physical journeys. As a woman, Shira finds the field very relatable and is able to appreciate the importance of good care in the field first hand. She finds it fulfilling how many patients leave the office feeling calm and confident in their health and a privilege to help women through some of their most meaningful experiences during their prenatal and postpartum care.
Rachel Kagan CNM, WHNP-BC
​Rachel started her educational path with a Bachelor’s in Science from Touro University, graduating with honors in 2016. She then went on to complete a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2019. More recently, she graduated from Georgetown University with dual certification in Midwifery and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Rachel is very excited to start her new career under the leadership of such experienced and well-regarded doctors. As a beneficiary of the midwifery model of care for both of her babies, Rachel is very passionate about this growing field and the ability it presents to collaborate doctor led evidence-based care with a more natural patient centered and holistic approach. She believes in empowering women to be partners in their healthcare and is excited to bring more options into the practice. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and reading the latest spy novels
