• Hysteroscopy -Minimally invasive procedure that allows a doctor to examine the inside of the uterus and fallopian tubes.

• Myomectomy - A surgery that removes uterine fibroids and treats heavy or irregular bleeding, pelvic pain, and frequent urination. It's an alternative to a hysterectomy for people who want to keep their uterus or plan to become pregnant.

• Hysterectomy - A common surgery that removes the uterus, and may also remove the cervix and ovaries.

• Cystocele repair (anterior colporrhaphy) repairs the hernia of the wall between the bladder and vagina. This procedure can ease chronic discomfort from a bulging vagina and difficulty emptying the bladder.

• Laparoscopy - A diagnostic procedure that uses a laparoscope to view the reproductive and abdominal organs. The laparoscope is inserted through a small incision in the abdomen.

• Laparotomy - is a surgical procedure that involves making a large incision in the abdominal wall to examine the organs inside and treat any problems.

• Endometrial ablation - An in-office procedure that treats abnormal bleeding by removing the lining of the uterus. It's an alternative to a hysterectomy.

• Colposcopy - An exploratory procedure that uses a colposcope to examine the cervix for cells that might become cancerous. It's usually done to follow up on an abnormal Pap smear.

• Endometrial biopsy - is a medical procedure in which your healthcare provider removes a small piece of tissue from the lining of your uterus (the endometrium) to examine under a microscope.

• Dilation and curettage (D&C) -A procedure that uses a curette to remove tissue from the uterus and dilates the cervix. It's often used to diagnose and treat abnormal bleeding, or to complete a miscarriage.

• Tubal ligation - A procedure that permanently prevents pregnancy by cutting or blocking the fallopian tubes.
